Unlock Your Next Rental
George Mitchell is a retirement-resistant owner who has been managing properties in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho since the early 1990s. His children and grandchildren help him out. As a family, they are dedicated to working hard to ensure the residents of the Inland Northwest have affordable and clean housing. During the growing season, George often gives tenants vegetables from his garden.
Contact
George is old school. Don’t text him. Call. He usually answers, unless he’s golfing. Also, be reasonable about calling times. He’s an early-to-bed, early-to-rise kind of guy.

Your Questions, Answered
If I want to move before my lease up, may I sublet my apartment or house?
The short answer is no. That said, George will usually work with you. If you have replacement renters in mind, have them talk to George and fill out a rental application. If they seem like a good fit, they will likely be able to sign their own lease.
How can I get my security deposit back?
In order to receive your deposit back, renters need to be up to date on their rent and leave their unit clean. While many people have different ideas of “clean,” the Mitchell Properties’ standard of clean is, like, really clean. Think of it like this: If on move-out day your rental is as clean as it was on move-in day, you will likely get your deposit back.
